Dia Roberts - Wednesday, June 25 at 9 a.m.
Dai started running around ships almost 30 years ago in January 1980 and has been running ever since. Not only has he been a successful runner, but he’s also served his country in the Royal Navy and raised a wonderful family. Come to this seminar to hear Dai speak about
how he managed a naval and running career all the while raising his three children with his wife.
Jerry Frostick - Wednesday, July 23 at 10:30 a.m.
Owner of Final Kick Sports and J & A Racing.
Jerry started running marathons in 1986. Since then he has ran over 60 marathons with 12 times under three hours. His best time was 2:52 in the Philly Marathon. He has also competed in five Ironman Triathlons. He opened Final Kick Sports in 1996. He has been the Race Director for the Shamrock Marathon, ½ marathon and 8K for the past 6 years.
Lori Tubbs Ms, RD, CSSD, CSCS - Wednesday, August 8 at 10:30 a.m.
Lori Tubbs has been working in the field of health promotion and sports nutrition with the Naval
Special Warfare community for over the past nine years. She is registered dietitian and a certified specialist in sports dietetics and strength and conditioning. She is also a marathoner and triathlete. Come to this seminar to hear Lori speak about proper nutrition training to help you run your best race possible.
Dr. Mel William, Ph.D., FACSM - Wednesday, October 3 at 11 a.m.
Mel Williams received his PH. D. in physical education and exercise science from the University of Maryland. He is committed to maintaining a high level of fitness for both health and sports competition. He has completed more than 100 marathons, including all 33 Marine Corps Marathons, won his age group in the Boston Marathon in both his 50s and 60s, has completed the Kona Ironman Triathlon and continues to exercise daily.
Come to this seminar to hear about race day preparation even if this isn’t your first race.
